In Nov., 2004 I read an article online that said Gastric Bypass Surgery could "cure" Type II Diabetes. I pursued it, first the RnY, 2/06, but I walked away after hearing about the Duodenal Switch or "DS". I pursued it for eight long, frustrating years. On Friday, March 14, 2014 at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, my hope, surgery, was achieved. Within 30 days, my no.1 goal was met. The diabetes that had plagued me for 15 years was GONE. No more high blood pressure, either. *glory*
